What NAD+ Does

NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell of your body. Your cells rely on it to turn food into usable energy and to power enzymes involved in cellular repair. Its levels tend to fall as we age, which is why NAD+ has become central to longevity science.

  • Energy metabolism: NAD+ is essential to the reactions that produce ATP, the energy currency of your cells.
  • Cellular maintenance: it fuels enzymes, including sirtuins and PARPs, that take part in DNA repair and the response to stress.
  • Age-related decline: lower NAD+ levels have been measured in the skin and blood of older adults.

Performance & Recovery

For athletes and highly active clients. In a 2021 trial, amateur runners taking an NAD+ precursor for six weeks alongside training improved aerobic capacity at moderate intensity, though not peak VO2 max.

Metabolic Health

For busy professionals focused on energy and metabolic fitness. A 2021 study published in Science found that an NAD+ precursor improved muscle insulin sensitivity in women with prediabetes.

Healthy Ageing

For clients building a long-term longevity routine. NAD+ declines with age, and restoring it is an active field of research, but human evidence on ageing outcomes is still emerging.

What the Research Says

Most human studies so far have used oral NAD+ precursors (NMN or NR), not intravenous NAD+. A 2019 pilot study found that a slow, six-hour NAD+ infusion was well tolerated and raised blood NAD+ levels, but large controlled trials of IV NAD+ for performance or longevity are still lacking.

Results vary from person to person, and we do not promise outcomes. What we do promise is careful, doctor-led treatment, tailored to you.

The Session

Every NAD+ session takes place at our clinic. It begins with a health check by our doctor, who reviews your goals, medical history, and current medications to confirm NAD+ is right for you.

The infusion is then given slowly, usually over two to three hours. A faster rate can cause flushing, nausea, or chest tightness, so our team adjusts the pace to how your body responds and stays with you throughout.
